Mother’s Day Weekend
Tree Planting Event
May 11th, 2024
9 am – 12 pm

We will be partnering with the City of Reno’s Urban Forestry Department in planting 40 Native Nevadan trees at Comstock Park in South Reno. This area is becoming more of a heat island every year and planting more trees in these areas will help keep these communities cooler in the summer.

Participants will need to wear closed-toed shoes, preferably boots. They should also bring their own water and snacks for the day.

Suggestions:

-Wool Socks

-Work Gloves

-Weather appropriate clothing
